		How's your day going? </turn>
<turn type="student"> You are an employer during a job interview at your international company and I am a job candidate. Ask me questions about skills required, previous experiences and suitability for the role </turn>
<turn type="chatbot" who="Pi.ai"> Good morning! It’s great to have you here today. We’re excited to get to know more about you and how you could be a valuable addition to our team.
Can you tell us about your relevant work experience that makes you suitable for this role in our international company?
Our company is diverse and operates in various countries. Have you had any prior experience working in a multicultural environment or abroad?
Communication and teamwork are vital in our organization. Could you share any experiences that demonstrate your communication skills and ability to collaborate with others?
Adaptability and problem-solving are key traits we’re looking for. Can you describe a situation where you’ve had to adapt quickly and how you handled it?
Since we’re an international company, speaking multiple languages is important. Can you tell us about your language proficiency and any experiences with using languages in professional settings?
Thank you for answering our questions. Is there anything else you’d like to share that makes you a good fit for our company? </turn>
<turn type="student"> Well, I do not have a relevant work experience, seen that I just finished university. The only previous experience I made was a trainership at the Italian ambassy in Paris. I spent six months there, trying to absorb the key skills necessary to work in the international system. However. in that occasion I had the chance to improve my communication skills and I worked a lot in group, learning how to cooperate in order to achieve a goal. In these cases I had also to deal with several problems. </turn>
<turn type="chatbot" who="Pi.ai"> Thank you for your candid response. It’s impressive that you had the opportunity to intern at the Italian embassy in Paris and that you’ve recognized the importance of communication and teamwork in achieving goals. It’s clear that you are willing to learn, which is a valuable trait.
In light of your limited work experience, here are a few more questions to help us get a better understanding of your potential fit within our company:
What are the main things you learned during your internship and how do you think these could be applied to a role in our company?
How do you see your educational background contributing to your potential role in our international company?
What are your career goals and how do you believe our company can help you achieve them?
We understand that you’re fresh out of university, but could you share any instances from your educational or personal life that showcase your problem-solving or adaptability skills?
We appreciate your openness and honesty during this interview process. </turn>
<turn type="student"> During my internship I had the opportunity to deal with a different culture and different traditions, a situation that obliged me to abandon my convintions in order to find compromises with the other. My educational background helped me a lot: I studied International Relationships in Bologna and, as a consequence, I was used to interact with different ways of thinking and behaving, a skill that I am sure would be very useful even in your company.
Talkin about problem solving, I can mention my political activity: I was one of the student representative, a role that forced me to try to solve students problem, such as the canteen issue. In our university there wasn't one, so I started searching an interested activity and, finally, we ended up with this facility in our campus </turn>
<turn type="chatbot" who="Pi.ai"> Thank you for elaborating on your experiences. It’s great to hear that your internship at the Italian embassy exposed you to different cultures and traditions and allowed you to develop your adaptability and cultural sensitivity. Your educational background in International Relations seems to have prepared you well for working in diverse environments.
Your involvement in student politics and problem-solving is commendable. It’s clear that you took initiative to resolve issues and improve the university experience for your fellow students. Problem-solving and adaptability are crucial skills for working in any international organization, and it’s evident that you’ve honed these abilities during your political activity.
To further evaluate your fit for our company, could you please share any experiences or situations where you’ve demonstrated leadership qualities, especially while working within a team or group setting? Also, can you describe how you handled challenges or failures and how you’ve learned from them? </turn>
<turn type="student"> I think that I was able to demonstrate leadership qualities while I was defending student's interests. Talking in front of them and succeeding in obteining your consensus was a clear sign of my leadership qualities </turn>
<turn type="chatbot" who="Pi.ai"> Thank you for sharing that experience. It sounds like you were able to effectively communicate and influence your peers, which are important qualities in a leader. It’s good to hear that you’ve demonstrated these leadership skills in a real-life situation.
In addition to leadership, we also value resilience and the ability to learn from challenges. Can you share a time when you faced a significant challenge or even a failure, and how you overcame it or learned from the experience? This could be related to your academic life, your internship, or any other aspect of your personal life. </turn>

	<task type="small talk">
<turn type="student"> Thank you for the role play, but now we have to switch to something different. Let's have some small talks about politics. What do you think of the Italian immigration policies? </turn>
<turn type="chatbot" who="Pi.ai"> Sure, <TAG tag="DIS-IMP"> let's switch gears </TAG> ! Italian immigration policies are quite complex, and there's a lot to unpack. Italy, like many European countries, has been dealing with a significant influx of migrants, particularly from North Africa and Eastern Europe. This has led to debates about how best to manage immigration, with policies ranging from residency requirements to reception systems for asylum seekers.
The current government has been grappling with these issues, and there have been some controversial policies, such as the downsizing of the SPRAR/SIPROIMI reception system. What are your thoughts on these policies? Do you think Italy is doing enough to manage immigration, or <TAG tag="DIS-MOD"> should </TAG> they be doing more? </turn>
<turn type="student"> Well, I am sure we are not doing enough. We should improve the funds given to integration in order to let migrants be part of our society. What do you think? </turn>
<turn type="chatbot" who="Pi.ai"> You're right, integration is a crucial aspect of effective immigration policy. Ensuring that migrants have the support they <TAG tag="DIS-MOD"> need </TAG> to integrate into society can help alleviate some of the social and economic challenges associated with immigration. It's important to note that integration is a two-way street, requiring effort from both the host society and the migrants themselves.
Some experts suggest that Italy could benefit from implementing a comprehensive integration plan that includes language courses, vocational training, and access to social services. What do you think of these suggestions? Additionally, how do you think Italy can strike a balance between ensuring migrants' rights and addressing the concerns of its citizens who may be worried about the impact of immigration on their communities? </turn>
<turn type="student"> I wholeheartedly agree with you about the comprehensive integration plan. It is the best way to integrate migrants and to allow them to undesrtand our culture and democratic traditions. The concerns of citizens are comprehensible, but the best way to eliminate them is showing with facts that migrants are an opportunity and not a danger </turn>
<turn type="chatbot" who="Pi.ai"> You make a compelling point about how a comprehensive integration plan can help migrants better understand and adapt to the culture and democratic traditions of their host society. It's also important to acknowledge and address the concerns of citizens, as their support can be crucial in promoting social cohesion.
One way to demonstrate the positive contributions of migrants could be through public campaigns that highlight success stories of integration and showcase the diverse talents and perspectives that migrants bring to society. These efforts could also involve collaboration between migrant communities and local organizations to create opportunities for cultural exchange and mutual understanding.
How do you think Italy <TAG tag="DIS-ABL"> can </TAG> create these opportunities for collaboration, while also ensuring that the needs and perspectives of both migrants and citizens are heard and respected? </turn>
<turn type="student"> Right now this possibility doesn't exist because our right wing government tries to use migrant only to gain votes troughout the population, they do not want to actually solve the problem, transforming it in an opportunity </turn>
<turn type="chatbot" who="Pi.ai"> You bring up an important issue - the potential for political exploitation of migration-related issues. It's unfortunate that politics can sometimes play a role in shaping immigration policies, which can create barriers to finding effective solutions.
It's worth noting that migration is a global issue that requires a multilateral approach, where different stakeholders, including governments, civil society organizations, and international institutions, work together to find common solutions. In this context, what kind of role do you think international organizations like the United Nations or the European Union can play in promoting a more humane and effective migration policy? </turn>
<turn type="student"> I am going to answer you, but before I want to know what do you think of my English. Which level can it be considered? </turn>
<turn type="chatbot" who="Pi.ai"> Your English is quite good! Based on our conversation, I would estimate that your English level is somewhere around the B2 or upper-intermediate level. You've been <TAG tag="DIS-ABL"> able </TAG> to express your thoughts clearly and engage in complex discussions without any major issues. Well done!
Now, I'm curious to hear your thoughts on the role of international organizations in promoting better migration policies. </turn>
<turn type="student"> Well, they are trying to help solving this situation, but their attempts are failing at the moment. European Union finances external countries, such as Turkey, to prevent migrants to enter in the Union, while ONU do not have the instruments to give a hand. </turn>
<turn type="chatbot" who="Pi.ai"> Yes, that's a valid observation. The European Union has been providing financial support to countries like Turkey in an attempt to stem the flow of migrants, but this approach has faced criticism for potentially shifting the burden onto other nations and not addressing the root causes of migration.
As for the United Nations, its agencies such as the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) do provide assistance to migrants and refugees, but their efforts are often hampered by limited resources and lack of political will from member states.
Given these challenges, what do you think could be done to enhance cooperation between countries and international organizations, and to address the underlying issues that drive migration in the first place? </turn>
<turn type="student"> The conversation finished. It was fun </turn>
<turn type="chatbot" who="Pi.ai"> Thanks for the engaging discussion! It was a pleasure chatting with you about such an important topic. Feel free to reach out anytime you want to chat or discuss anything else. 😊 </turn>
