In this contribution, I present some preliminary observations on a document-manuscript concerning the common law (azref) of Ayt ‘Aääa which live Rteb, a rural district which is in the palm plantation of Aoufous, concerned with the Er-Rachidia province, in the area of Tafilalet. Ayt ‘Aääa are a very large tribe (indeed, a “super tribe”) of the Berber ones, of which the great part are always transhumant. The document is written in Arabic, but contains old Berber words. It relates to the relations of Ayt ‘Aääa and the standards which control the qsar. The manuscript informs about the conditions of sale of the houses, of the flights in the palm plantations, the management of the use of water and of agriculture, and so on.
