This article aims to be a review of the main writings of Maria Soledad Carrasco, of whom it gets an examination on those areas specifically dedicated to the study about the function and role of women in literature called "morisca" and about its exegetical strategies used by M. If "El Moro de Granada en la literatura" (1956) the lack of criticism about women's roles depends on the structural features of the monography -which is basically a non-typological study- there's no lack of gaze to that nodo problematis represented by women, especially in some of the many works studied and regarding certain characters (Xarifa, Moraima).

Abstract

This article aims to be a review of the main writings of Maria Soledad Carrasco, of whom it gets an examination on those areas specifically dedicated to the study about the function and role of women in literature called "morisca" and about its exegetical strategies used by M. S. C. U.
