Crossroads: Languages in (E)motion has put into motion interest, curiosity and desire for future investigations in fields of inquiry that do not necessarily pertain uniquely to the realm of applied linguistics but go beyond and deeper. The conference has allowed interveners to become more sensitive to today’s approach to language learning proposing possible scenarios aimed at achieving a level of awareness updated and integrated so as to drive the current generation of learners towards a long lasting success in SLA.
