The debate surrounding the existence of a Mediterranean city is very ample. However, when speaking about Mediterranean it is unavoidable to refer to its cities; in this perspective multiple approaches arise, such as different classifications, narratives, past memories and recalls to the present. Additional insights concern the research about the images and the models, but also of common and shared elements relative to the Mediterranean urban agglomeration; a crucial exercise which allows also to monitor the mutations, and the way in which our cities received, absorbed or elaborated the stimuli to which – at different time – they have been exposed to.

Abstract
The debate surrounding the existence of a Mediterranean city is very ample. However, when speaking about Mediterranean it is unavoidable to refer to its cities; in this perspective multiple approaches arise, such as different classifications, narratives, past memories and recalls to the present. Additional insights concern the research about the images and the models, but also of common and shared elements relative to the Mediterranean urban agglomeration; a crucial exercise which allows also to monitor the mutations, and the way in which our cities received, absorbed or elaborated the stimuli to which – at different time – they have been exposed to.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
