This paper aims to analyze the first theatrical work written by Sa'd Allah Wannus, al-Hayah Abadan, and the articles he published in 1961 on the pages of the Lebanese magazine al-Adab. These works bring to light a phase in intellectual formation that remains still unexplored and, in particular, highlight the influences of nationalist and existentialist thought during the very first phase of his intellectual and writing career.

Abstract
