The article deals with the study of the epigraphic corpus of the citadel of Urfa (Anatolia), found on the south, west and north sides of the fortified walls. The inscriptions, which can be dated to a period between the beginning of the 10th century and the first half of the 18th century, provide an important contribution to the knowledge of the construction and occupation phases of the citadel.
