Abstract

This article focuses on the discursive structure on Lenin’s texts, which had yet to be the subject of special analysis. Attention is focused on the distinguishing features of Lenin’s texts on a lexical, syntactical, rhetorical, and functional and pragmatic levels, which his contemporaries perceived and described as deviations against the background of the standard political and linguistic forms of the era. The imperative character, purposefulness, pragmatism, and neat endless elasticity of the linguistic structures are traced in the example of a palette from the fifteen different meanings of Lenin’s idiom of partiinost’, which arose in numerous contexts of the political and intellectual polemics led by the founder of the USSR.

L'articolo fa parte della sezione "Politicheskaja ritorika v Rossii kak ob''ekt intellektual'noj istorii" (La retorica politica in Russia come oggetto di storia intellettuale). La sezione è aperta dal contributo "Tri dilemmy intellektual'noj istorii: the state of the craft" (I tre dilemmi della storia intellettuale: the state of the craft), in cui i due autori T. Atnashev e M. Velizhev analizzano in modo assai disteso (pp. 18-20) le implicazioni del mio articolo, definito "lavoro pionieristico" su un tema che "a causa di circostanze congiunturali è rimasto fino ad oggi poco studiato".
