The present paper aims to shed light on some of the issues concerning the Arabic-speaking Libyan sample points of the ALM (Atlante Linguistico del Mediterraneo). Libya is represented, within the ALM project, by four sample points, namely Tripoli, Zuwara, Misrata and Benghazi, from West to East. Zuwara, however, is a Berber-speaking sample point, and thus of limited interest to our research, which will focus on the three remaining Arabic-speaking points. Interviews in Libya (as in the rest of the Arabic-speaking world) were conducted by Giovanni Oman (Cairo 1922 – Rome 2007).

Abstract
The present paper aims to shed light on some of the issues concerning the Arabic-speaking Libyan sample points of the ALM (Atlante Linguistico del Mediterraneo). Libya is represented, within the ALM project, by four sample points, namely Tripoli, Zuwara, Misrata and Benghazi, from West to East. Zuwara, however, is a Berber-speaking sample point, and thus of limited interest to our research, which will focus on the three remaining Arabic-speaking points. Interviews in Libya (as in the rest of the Arabic-speaking world) were conducted by Giovanni Oman (Cairo 1922 – Rome 2007).File in questo prodotto:
