This article aims to debate some of the narrative and thematic strategies of Samanta Schweblin's novel Kentukis (published in 2018 in Buenos Aires), particularly about the implications and presence of a new technological object, named kentuki, in the lives of the many characters in the book. This contact ends up generating a series of situations and contrasts that the talent of the Argentine writer manipulates with skill, creating a novel with a hybrid structure of great originality and grip on the reader, in which there is a mixture of languages, from that of postmodern cinema to the language of the science fiction novel to that belonging to new and brand new digital technologies
