The study aims to verify the applicability of a Functional Adequacy-based rating scale in the evaluation of written texts produced in L2 Italian by vulnerable learners, all of them being asylum seekers and having a low level of education. For this purpose, raters with different degrees of teaching experience were involved and their judgments were ana-lyzed and compared. The results thus obtained were then compared with those achieved by the same raters when applying a second rating scale focusing on formal accuracy.

For this purpose, raters with different degrees of teaching experience were involved and their judgments were ana-lyzed and compared. The results thus obtained were then compared with those achieved by the same raters when applying a second rating scale focusing on formal accuracy.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
