The article deals with some fables from the Aesopic collection and Phaedrus, aiming at showing how physician and medicine are represented in the fable genre. Consequently, it will explore the possibility of grasping an alternative view of medical ethics to that proposed by some treatises of the Corpus Hippocraticum.

Abstract
