In introducing the essays contained in the monographic section “Giovani, studenti e public history”, the curator recalls the original location of the contributions, presented during the III Week of Excellence of the Department of Education, Cultural Heritage and Tourism of the University of Macerata. Then she underlines the importance of the collaboration among different figures (university professors, teachers, cultural institutions, professionals) in the construction of public history projects. Finally, she recalls how the formation of multidisciplinary skills within the courses of Cultural Heritage and Tourism can constitute an opportunity for students who are interested in the profession of public historian.
