The aim of this paper is to study the strategies used by the Minister to reinforce her image and credibility in the 39 videos that compose the corpus and that can be found on the Institutional YouTube channel (2020 - 2023). The analysis is qualitative and the methodology is mainly within the framework of Critical Discourse Studies (Teun van Dijk, 2003, 2005; Charaudeau, 2005, 2009), also employing the fundamental concepts of social image (face) and image activity (Goffman, 1959, 1967; Bravo, 1999; Arundale, 2006; Fuentes Rodríguez, 2013), with a special focus on pragmatics and discursive rhetoric (Fuentes Rodríguez, 2013, 2016, 2020; Fuentes Rodríguez and Alcaide Lara, 2007; Fernández Ulloa and López Ruiz, 2020).
