This article aims to analyse the presence of Polish literature published in Italy from the interwar period to the present, which is identified and discussed through a bibliographic repertory dedicated to narrative and poetic anthologies published in Italy after World War II. Particular attention will be paid to editors and authors involved in the production of this type of publications. Reflection will also be undertaken on the dynamics of creating a new canon, which does not always coincide with the one in force in Poland. Its shape and content depend on the policy of the publishing houses, which attempt to present anthology as an independent literary form and genre by entrusting the editing to experts or recognized critics.
