The article explores the architectural and decorative features of all currently known Omani mosques and highlights the key aspects of the mosque discovered during archaeological investigations carried out by the Italian Archaeological Mission of L'Orientale at Al Baleed (Sultanate of Oman), directed by the author. This mosque represents one of the earliest examples of religious complexes in Dhofar, providing significant evidence from the period of Rasulid occupation in the region.
