Abstract
The experience of Don Lorenzo Milani 'tells' how the necessary disobedience to an enclosed educational and scholastic structure is far from the dogmatism of contestation for its own sake and from the ideological derivations of too many course training courses in Europe. This school of disobedience is nourished by continuous work, in a pedagogical re-vision of the relationship between teacher and student, in a dimension of 'workshop of the word' where precisely to the word is returned saving and Gli Argonauti. The school that writes, then, becomes the concrete aspect of a democratic and committed intention; a value horizon that Lorenzo Milani raises to a new socio-pedagogical system. The school of the prior of Barbiana hosts and exalts the pedagogy of language and word as a first form of realistic projection of equality; as a true attempt to connect between divine principles (and dogmas) and all-human desire for social justice. The hope of Lorenzo Milani, thus, comes to life between the folds (and lines) of powerful texts - first of all, the famous Letter to a Teacher -, collective and shared, of a community of children that was family, home, hope, and to which the prior had "Loved more than God". At the center of these coordinates, the indomitable man of faith and school sets forth principles that are not negotiable, so much to expose himself and bear all the consequences of his coherent ideals. A broader (if necessary) historical-literary overview enables us to focus on the other significant aspects of scholastic writing - shared and collective too, from Mario Lodi to Gianni Rodari - which restore a new vibrancy thanks to figures of master writers able to redefine an educational and cultural paradigm in the heart of the twentieth century.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
