This paper presents a new reconstruction of the well-known krater found at Pithekoussai (Ischia), bearing the signature of the potter -INOS (c. 730–710 BC). It confirms the identification of the figure as a Siren and establishes its setting on an island in the sea, consistent with the location described in the Odyssey.
Il contributo presenta una nuova ricostruzione del celebre cratere trovato a Pithekoussai (Ischia), recante la firma del vasaio -INOS (ca. 730-710 a.C.). Conferma l'identificazione della figura con una Sirena, precisandone la collocazione su un'isola nel mare, secondo la localizzazione dell'Odissea.
