This paper complements the previous studies on the relationship between the Meroitic pottery and its possible Mediterranean inspirations, which mainly focused on the decoration, with study cases on the shape of some Meroitic ceramic types. At the end, some historical and ideological remarks on the meaning of these imitations are proposed.
