The decision made by the Kimberley Process at the Kinshasa Plenary (October 31-November 3, 2011) with regard to Zimbbabwe was harshly criticized by the Civil Society Coalition. On the contrary, the present article welcomes this decision because it offers the opportunity for the Kimberley Process to strengh its credibility and effectiveness.
