This contribution about the "Viaje de Turquia" in the Atlas dedicated to the "Camineria" (namely to the historical culture linked to nests of ways and paths and of Hispanic products which help the definition of that culture) presents the anonymous oeuvre from half XVIth century which narrates the trip from Spain to Costan tinopoli and the return of a hero called Politropos or Pedro de Urdemalas: a modern Spanish Ulysse able to integrate classical and christian values thanks to his initiatic round-trip journey. The large news about the ottoman imper, about the subdued Grece and about the Italy from the XVIth century are inserted into the personal experiences of the hero, gaining great liveliness and dynamism.

Abstract
This contribution about the "Viaje de Turquia" in the Atlas dedicated to the "Camineria" (namely to the historical culture linked to nests of ways and paths and of Hispanic products which help the definition of that culture) presents the anonymous oeuvre from half XVIth century which narrates the trip from Spain to Costan tinopoli and the return of a hero called Politropos or Pedro de Urdemalas: a modern Spanish Ulysse able to integrate classical and christian values thanks to his initiatic round-trip journey. The large news about the ottoman imper, about the subdued Grece and about the Italy from the XVIth century are inserted into the personal experiences of the hero, gaining great liveliness and dynamism.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
