This study represents a criticism of Chinese scholarship's point of view on the ancient Korean state of Koguryo, within the limits of the so-called "Dongbei Gongcheng". The author especially emphasizes the political nature of Chinese scholarship's attitude, by hypothesizing the Chinese will of establishing (also by denying the "Koreanity" of ancient Koguryo) a definitive influence over the northern part of the Korean peninsula. The territory of today's DPRK, in fact, belonged to Koguryo in ancient times.

Abstract
This study represents a criticism of Chinese scholarship's point of view on the ancient Korean state of Koguryo, within the limits of the so-called "Dongbei Gongcheng". The author especially emphasizes the political nature of Chinese scholarship's attitude, by hypothesizing the Chinese will of establishing (also by denying the "Koreanity" of ancient Koguryo) a definitive influence over the northern part of the Korean peninsula. The territory of today's DPRK, in fact, belonged to Koguryo in ancient times.File in questo prodotto:
