The paper investigates the social, political and economic development in the Mediterranean countries. The Mediterranean area is characterized by many fractures. The demographic differences and migration issues seem to be between the key elements that characterize the area. Nevertheless, there are political problems, and the various political actors who act in the area and the different policies implemented do not find a moment of cohesion and unity. It therefore seems appropriate to identify a link between actions at the local and global scale.

Abstract
The paper investigates the social, political and economic development in the Mediterranean countries. The Mediterranean area is characterized by many fractures. The demographic differences and migration issues seem to be between the key elements that characterize the area. Nevertheless, there are political problems, and the various political actors who act in the area and the different policies implemented do not find a moment of cohesion and unity. It therefore seems appropriate to identify a link between actions at the local and global scale.File in questo prodotto:
