The article deals with exotic materials from the Red Sea regions discovered in the 2006-2010 field seasons at the site of the Middle Kingdom harbour of Mersa/Wadi Gawasis, on the Egyptian Red Sea Coast. A typological classification is proposed and the identification of their origin is used to outline the extension of the Egyptian Punt trade network.
