The work includes the description of the almost 300 Arabic, Persiana and Turkish manuscripts preserved in the Department of the Orientaltusies of the University of Turin. The cllection belonged originally to the German Orientalist Paul Kahle. The three authors have divided their works according to their expertize: all of them contributed to the Introduction, R. Tottoli described the contents of the 250 ca. Arabic items, M. Bernardini of he Persian and Turkish items and M.L. Russo described material supports and prepared the codicological description of each netry.
