This study is collocated in the field of Corpus Linguistics, English Language Teaching and English for Academic Purposes. It investigates the potential of corpus-based techniques to analyse students’ written productions in digital environments and to offer insights for e-assessment tools and syllabus development in both general and academic English. The research adopts a corpus-informed approach to online language learning and testing, combining linguistic analysis, assessment practices, and data-driven pedagogical applications. Drawing on a corpus of students’ written texts produced in e-learning contexts, the study explores to what extent corpus-based analysis can effectively describe L2 learner productions and how findings derived from such analyses can inform pedagogical interventions and testing practices. By linking corpus-based research with digital teaching and assessment processes in English, the study aims to strengthen the connection between empirical linguistic research and educational practice.

Abstract
By linking corpus-based research with digital teaching and assessment processes in English, the study aims to strengthen the connection between empirical linguistic research and educational practice.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
